Generac Mobile Products launches new Mini DF Duo, an indoor dust control unit with a range from 5 to 8 m and a 70 liter water tank providing an operating time up to 5 hours and 18 min, ideal for asbestos removal.Feb 172016
This portable, easy handling, dust control unit weights only 70 kg and is designed for indoor works on buildings sites. Unstoppable weapon against dust, it is characterized by the presence of a "satellite", a second unit which allows two dust suppression points for a total distance of 15 m between them.
Used together or separately, they are ideal in particular for asbestos removal, because Mini DF due hasn't any fan, so it doesn't blow asbestos dust around during removal. Thanks to the double water spray units, this small nebuilizer can be also used in those construction sites where the asbestos removal station stays outside the area of asbestos removal, while only the satellite is placed in the area.

A Generac DF15000 Dust Fighter from PR Power was recently in operation on a Delta Group site in Victoria, Australia, minimising dust from a waste reclamation project.
The DF15000 Dust Fighter sprays out a misty spread of water from 30 nozzles at an average 6bar water pressure. The spray can reach up to 50m without wind assistance ensuring it covers a large work area to maximise dust control.
The misty spread of water aids in avoiding the creation of muddy surfaces, prevalent when using water trucks, hoses and other apparatus used to spread water.
Generac Mobile Products recently teamed up with their sister company, MAC Heaters, to display a range of products at the Inter Airport Europe 2015 trade show held in Munich, Germany.
Two principal products were showcased; Generac’s Hydro Power Cube lighting tower and MAC’s, MAC400FHC flameless heater. The two partners reported keen interest in both of these products from the worldwide airline industry and, in particular, visitors from Germany, Eastern Europe and Russia. They also received enquiries from Africa, Middle East, Asia and concluded the trade fair with many new interesting contacts.
The Hydro Power Cube has been developed to provide safe, economical, temporary lighting for security, service and maintenance in the remote areas of an airfield, where it’s not cost-effective to install fixed illumination. The Hydro Power Cube has a vertical telescopic mast reaching a maximum height of 8.5 metres and the complete unit is secured via four, adjustable, stabilisers. The mast is hydraulically raised by a single lever and can be rotated through 340° ensuring that the light is targeted correctly. Illumination is provided from four 1000W Metal Halide or four 300w LED lamps and the power is generated by a super-silent 1500-rpm water-cooled diesel engine.
MAC’s new flameless heater designs are said to be one of the most efficient and with the highest output of heated air on the market. Their flameless heaters are ideally suited for airports in both permanent and temporary hangars. They are also a perfect heating solution in similar areas where flames are forbidden for either security or safety reasons. MAC have models are available either trailer or skid mounted.
MAC, Inc. was established in 1983 in Glenburn, North Dakota. Their product offering includes indirect fired, flameless, and hydronic surface heaters ranging in size from 200,000 BTUs per hour up to 4,200,000 BTUs per hour, which is believed to be the largest indirect fired heater in the North American marketplace. They became part of the Generac Group in October 2014.
2015 was the 20th anniversary of Inter Airport Europe - the International exhibition for airport equipment, MAC and Generac Mobile products were represented by Simone Dalu (GMP Italy) and Kent Pauli (MAC Heaters).
